Biographical sketch: Prof. Alshehri received the B.S. degree in Control and Instrumentation Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2012, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, IL, USA, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Control and Instrumentation Engineering Department, KFUPM. His practical experience includes working for General Electric, Saudi Aramco, ISO New England, and Commonwealth Edison (ComEd). Prof. Alshehri also serves as an expert reviewer for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Federation of Automatic Control.
